Reflecting point through y axis means its x will change

  • If x > 0 then new x will be -x
  • If x = 0 then new x will be x
  • If x < 0 then new x will be -x

In other words for any point
P(x,y) reflection across y-axis will be point
P'(-x,y).

So solution is A.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

(-7,-3) and (7, -3)

Explanation:

When you plot the x-coordinate (the first number in your number pair) they have to be opposite from each other. So one negative and the other positive. This way they are on opposite sides from the y-axis. Now your y-coordinate has to stay the same so that they exactly reflect each other.
