6 is not a solution to 3x - 7 < 5

Solution:

Given inequality is:

3x - 7 < 5

We have to check whether 6 is a solution to given inequality

Substitute x = 6 in above given inequality and check it it satisfies the given inequality

3(6) - 7 < 5

Simplify the above inequality

18-7<5\\\\11<5

11 is not less than 5

Thus the above inequality is not satisfied for x = 6. So 6 is not a solution to given inequality
