Plss Help! A rectangular prism has a base perimeter of 18 inches. Its length is twice as long as its width & the height is 10 inches. What is the volume of the prism?​

Answer:

180 inches^3

Explanation:

Perimeter of the base is 18

Let l = length and w = width

2l + 2w = 18

2w = l (length is twice the width)

subsitute in for l

2(2w) + 2w = 18

6w = 18

w = 3

subsitute back to solve l

2(3) = l

l = 6

Volume of a rectangular prism formula

V = LWH

Height = 10

Length = 6

Width = 3

10*6*3 = 180 in^3
