Answer: Like many other countries, apartheid and slavery are the cause of races feeling others are inferior to them. In South Africa non-white people are subject to apartheid. Apartheid is the name of the policy that governed relations between the white minority and the non-white majority of South Africa during the 20th century. In South Africa racial segregation has existed for a long time, but the practice was extended from 1948 to 1994 which named its racial segregation policies apartheid. Apartheid is dictated where South Africans could live and work based on their race as well as education and the right to vote. While events in the 1990s marked the end of legislation, effects on economic and social remain.
