A city has a population of 310,000. Suppose that each year the population grows by 3.5% what will be the population after 15 years round your number to the nearest whole number pls help

Answer: 472,750

Explanation:

The population of the city = 310,000

Yearly growing rate = 3.5%

Now find 3.5% of the population = 3.5 x 310,000

= 10,850.

To find the population increase after 15 years = 10850 x 15

= 162,750

Population in 15 years = 310,000 + 162,750

= 472,750
