in 1500 the Aryans invade, Aryan- means noble in a language called Sanskrit, Aryans- indo Europeans that settled into the cities, didn't leave evidence because they were nomads, they don't have a lot of stuff, don't create Indo- European tribe, nomadic, didn't leave that many artifacts, had a lot of oral tradition which was passed down, eventually written down in Sanskrit- Aryan system of writing, written into books called the Vedas- a lot because they know they are going to move
