7. There are 80 kids in a gym. 75% are wearing socks. How many are not wearing, socks if you get stuck
consider using a tape diagram showing sections that each represent 25% of the kids in the gym,
Plz help!!!

Answer: 20

Here, the total number of kids in the gym = 80

Now, 75% of the kids are wearing socks.

Let us assume the number of kids wearing socks = m

75 % of 80 = m

Calculating the value of m ,we get:


(75)/(100)  * 80 = m\\\implies  m = 60

⇒ 60 kids are wearing socks.

Kids not wearing socks = Total kids in gym - Kids wearing socks

= 80 - 60 = 20

Hence, the number of kids NOT wearing socks in the gym = 60.
