This equation is a linear equation since its variable is only raised to the first power (x^1). Knowing that it is linear, you know that linear equations are always in the form of y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

In this case, the b=0 and your m=7.5.

Therefore, the slope is 7.5
