What does this equal and how do you solve it 10(x+4)

Answer:

10 (x + 4) = 10x +40, I'm pretty sure that's the answer. Try that out :)

Explanation:

I did distributed this equation, I did 10 times X, which x mean 1 and you would do 10 times 1, which is 10, but adding the variable in there so the variable would be X. And then I did the same thing except you do 10 times 4 and notice that there was a plus sign and not a minus sign. If there would be a minus sign it would be a negative answer, but with a plus sign it would be a positive answer, which is 40! :)
