The growth of the automobile industry caused an economic revolution across the untied states. Many of spin-off industries were really happy about it. Then the demand for vulcanized rubber skyrocketed because it is needed to make a automobile at the time. This also created raids and gave many more people jobs. The government also started funding for highway designs
