Based on your knowledge of photosynthesis, what environmental factors (abiotic or biotic) could affect this process?

HERE'S UR ANSWER

ABIOTIC FACTORS - (Non living)

1) Light intensity - duration and amount of light available.

2)Temprature - extreme temperatures can reduce photosynthesis and kill the plant.

3)Availability of O2 and CO2 - since O2 is required for respiration and CO2 is required for photosynthesis, lack of these can kill the plant.

BIOTIC FACTORS (living)

1) Insects and pests - insects cause damage to the crop in 3 ways:

a) They cut the leaf and stem.

b) They bore into the stem and suck the call sap.

c) They bore into the fruit.

HOPE THIS HELPS...
