if 4 people are responsible for 25% of the work and one is doing .025 how much work do the other 3 take on?

We convert decimal to percentage by multiplying by 100 and sticking the "%" sign.

So,

0.025 * 100 = 2.5%

Hence, 1 person is doing 2.5% of the total 25% of the work alloted to 4 persons.

The other 3 would do rest of the work, that would be:

25% - 2.5% = 22.5% of the work (rest 3 person would be)
