What is the slope of the line of (4,6) and (-16,-18)

Hi!

To solve this, we simply use the equation shown in the image below:

What this means is the change in y over the change in x.

We use the two points and plug them in the equation like so:


(6 - - 18)/(4--16) =(6+18)/(4+16) =(24)/(20) =(6)/(5)

Therefore your answer is
(6)/(5).
