You are designing a rectangular garden. You have enough material

to have a perimeter of 90 feet. The length will be twice the width.
Write and solve and equation to determine the width w of the
garden.

Let the width =w
So, length = 2w
Perimeter of rectangle = 2*length + 2*width

2*length + 2*width = 90
2*2w + 2*w= 90
4w + 2w = 90
6w = 90
Divide both sides by 6
w = 90/6
w = 15 ft
