Substitute y=x+6 to y=3x+2
So…
3x+2=x+6
2x=4
x=2

Answer:

X = 2

Explanation:

y = 3x +2

y = x + 6

x + 6 = 3x + 2

6 = 2x + 2

4 = 2x

x = 2
