Explanation:

you can find slope by comparing the vertical height / horizontal height of two points on the line

for example, we can use points (20,0) and (40,30)

vertical height is 30 minus 0 which is 30

horizontal height is 40 minus 20 which is 20

so slope is 30/20 or 3/2
