3 meters rope, cut into cords 3/5 of a meter long. Find number of cords made.
1m = 100cm
3/5 of 100?
100/5 = 20
20 x 3 = 60
3/5 of 100 = 60
Now divide the rope by 60cm
300cm/ 60cm = 5
The Boy Scout will make 5 ropes, 60cm in length each.
