Read the passage about the National Park Service.

Since its creation in 1916, the National Park Service has worked to protect the nation’s parks. Over 275 million people visit these parks annually and enjoy the beauty and wonder of such treasures as Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon. Over 20,000 people are employed by the National Park service, dedicating their lives to the preservation of the nation’s most beautiful places.
