3c means = 3 x c

2c means = 2 x c

and so on

so if c = - 3

3 x (-3) x (2 x (-3) - 1) - 5 x (3 x (-3)² + (-3))

= -9 x (-6 - 1) - 5 x (3 x 9 - 3)

= - 9 x (-7) - 5 x (27 - 3)

= 63 - 5 x 24

= 63 - 120

= - 57

Answer :

  • - 57

Given expression :

{ \longrightarrow\qquad \sf 3c(2c-1)-5(3c {}^(2) +c)}

When c = (-3) ,

{ \longrightarrow\qquad \sf 3( - 3) \bigg[2( - 3)-1 \bigg]-5 \bigg[3( - 3){}^(2) +( - 3) \bigg]}

{ \longrightarrow\qquad \sf - 9 \bigg[ - 6-1 \bigg]-5 \bigg[3( 9)+( - 3) \bigg]}

{ \longrightarrow\qquad \sf - 9 \bigg[ - 7 \bigg]-5 \bigg[27 - 3 \bigg]}

{ \longrightarrow\qquad \sf 63-5 \bigg(24 \bigg)}

{ \longrightarrow\qquad \sf 63-120}

{ \longrightarrow\qquad \bf - 57}

Therefore,

  • The value of the expression when c = (-3) is -57
