Explanation:

(7x+4)+(2x+5)+(5x+3) = 180

so if you take out the brackets it would be:

7x+4+2x+5+5x+3 = 180

Then you add the similar variables together which would look like:

14x+12=180

Take away 12 from both sides

14x = 180 - 12

14x = 168

Divide 14 from both sides

x = 168/14

x = 12
