Answer:

Simplify:

1(1/7) × 2(4/5)

⇛8/7 × 13/5

⇛(8×14)/(7×5)

⇛112/35

Now, reduce the fraction by extracting and cancaling out with"7" then, we get

⇛16/5 Ans.

1 (1)/(7) * 2(4)/(5) \\ = (7+1)/(7)* \left((2* 5+4)/(5)\right) \\ = (8)/(7)* \left((2* 5+4)/(5)\right) \\ = (8)/(7)* \left((10+4)/(5)\right) \\ = (8)/(7)* \left((14)/(5)\right) \\ = (8* 14)/(7* 5) \\ = (112)/(35) \\ = \boxed{ (16)/(5)=3.2}

Hope it helps!
