Answer:- $0.75 per kg and $0.50 per kg

let the price of sugar and rice be X and y respectively.

now ,

according to question,

3x + 2y = 3.25 $_____eq.(I)

2x + 2y = 2.50 $______eq.(II)

subtracting eq(II) from eq(I) , we get

2y will be cancelled and remains

X = 0.75 $

therefore , the price of sugar = 0.75 $ per kg.

and

substituting X = 0.75 in eq.(II) , we get

2*0.75 + 2* Y = 2.50

or, 2Y = 2.50- 1.50

or,. Y = 1/2= 0.5

hence , the price of rice is 0.5 $ per gram.
