To make 100g of jam you need 57g of strawberries, 17g of blackberries and the rest should be sugar.

What is the ratio of blackberries to sugar?
Give your answer in its simplest form.

Explanation:

100g (jam) = 57g(stb) + 17g (blb)+ Xg (sugar)

Xg (sugar) = 100g (jam) - 57 g(stb) - 17 g (blb)

Xg (sugar) = 26g(sugar)

Ratio of blb to sugar is 17/26. As the prime factor for 26 are 2 and 13 , 17/26 is the simplest form of the ratio of blackberries to sugar .
