Explanation:

(5a-b)x +b +2c = 0

To find a in terms of c, will isolated a on one side of the equation

5ax -bx +b +2c = 0 , we distribute x in parenthesis

5ax = bx -b -2c , move the terms that do not have a on the other side of the equation with changed sign

a = (bx -b -2c)/ 5x , divide both sides by 5x
