3: Robot welding and you are asked to watch
Q3: What is the distance you are required to remove combustible materials from the welding operation?
1: Out of sight of the operation
2: Flammable and combustible liquids and material will be kept 35 ft. from work area
3: Distance is not the issue, gases are of a higher risk
Q4: A designated welding area should be established to meet the following requirements

2: Magna’s housekeeping rules
3: At least one 10-lb. dry chemical fire extinguisher should be within access of the 35 ft. of work
