Answer:

Gatto - he claims that the public ed system causes kids to become bored and to conform to the way of the school and follow the beliefs and teachers of the teachers. He also statues that the students do not get to really deal with the issues of the world around them. He thinks that the students are bored because the teachers are bored and tired of teaching.

Step-by-step explanation:

Personally, as a teacher, when a teacher gets to the point where they are bored - they need a new job or a break.

Please think for yourself in this situation - are students in prison-type confinement and forced to learn what the teachers and board members think is appropriate?

Should students be able to manage themselves and learn what they want to learn?

Does our society only influence us to conform to "society" and government?

A lot of students are learning material in a short-term setting - instant recall and performance. The long-term learning is not there if the kid is bored and does the lesson mean anything to life in general?

What if the government recognized the ability of the child early and then mandated what that child would study and become to benefit society?

If you learn anything from this, I encourage you to read all of the banned books!
