Answer:

y - 6 = x/3 + 17/3 - 6

Explanation:

x₁,y₁

A(-5,4)

x₂,y₂

B(1,6)

m = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

m = (6 - 4) / (1 - (-5))

m = 2 / (1 + 5)

m = 2/6

m = 1/3

y = mx + b B(1,6)

6 = (1) * 1/3 + b

6 = 1/3 + b

b = 6 - 1/3

b = (18 - 1) / 3

b = 17 / 3

y = x/3 + 17/3

y - 6 = x/3 + 17/3 - 6
