I am in Spanish 1 learning pronouns. I have been confused on when to use nostros, vosotros, ellos/ellas, and ustedes. I now know that nosotros is used when you are talking about a group of people and yourself but when do you use ellos/ellas and ustedes. I am aware that vosotros is only used in Spain but we are learning it anyways. So I just need an explanation of when ellos/ellas is used and when ustedes is used. Since ustedes and vosotros is the same (I think) then I don’t need much instruction on that.

Ella is feminine.
Ellos is masculine.
Ustedes- used when referring to a group of people but not to be confused with Usted which is used when speaking to one person.

Singular Plural

1st person: I Yo We Nosotros (masculine)

Nosostas (feminine)

2nd person: You, informal Tu You Ustedes

You, formal Usted ^

3rd person: He El They Ellos (masculine)

She Ella ^ Ellas (feminine)

hope this helps :)
