(x^2 + kx + 10) ÷ (x - 1) has a remainder of 4.

I have no idea how to do this, I've tried Synthetic division, remainder theorem etc. and cant figure it out.

k +11 = 4

k = -7 . . . . . subtract 11 from both sides
