So UV+VW=UW
Or 2x+5x-4=5x
So 7x-4=5x
This means that x is generally a low amount as x has to be less than 3 (as 3x7, 21-4=17 and 3x5=15.)
I then tried to input 2 and got 14-4=10 which is correct.
So x=2
We then input x=2 into 5x-4 for the answer.
5(2)-4
10-4
6
The final answer is 6
