  • a=3
  • r=-1/2

Note the rule

\boxed{\sf a_n=ar^(n-1)}

Now

\\ \tt\longmapsto a_2=3(-1/2)^(2-1)=3(-1/2)=-3/2

\\ \tt\longmapsto a_3=3(-1/2)^(3-1)=3(-1/2)^2=-3/4

\\ \tt\longmapsto a_4=3(-1/2)^(4-1)=3(-1/2)^3=-3/8

\\ \tt\longmapsto a_5=3(-1/2)^(5-1)=3(-1/2)^4=-3/16
