Hi, I only answer for science but mood&tone is basically a segment of ELAR. Mood is basically a feeling that the reader gets from the story or how the story feels like. Is it scary? Is it humorous? Is it whimsical? Is it cheerful? It creates a sense of feeling in the character. Hope this helps!
