mean=
(Total numbers of cans)/(Total numbers of classes)=
((9+12+13+14+14+14+18+19+22+22+23+42))/(14)=
(222)/(12)=18.5

b) median=
(14+18)/(2)=16

c) 9,12,13,14,14,14,18,19,22,22,23

The center will change to 14 as the total number of classes decrease by 1.
