What is the difference of 1/2 x-1/3 and 5x^2-2x+6

1/2x - 1/4 * 5x^2 - 2x + 6 = 116/4 = 29

A. Work : 1/2x = 2/4x - 1/4 = 1/4x

5x^2 = 25 - 2x = 23x + 6 = 29x

1/4x * 29x = 1/4x * 116/4x = 116/4x = 29

B. 1/4x - 1/2 * 5x2 - 2x + 6 = -29

No, it is not equal to the product up above

Because its basically the same thing but the 1/2 and 1/4x

are switched which makes it negative
