PLEASE HELP ILL DO ANYTHING I REALLY REALLY NEED HELP ITS 5TH GRADE MATH!

Rick is snipping construction paper into rectangles for a project. He needs to snip one rectangle that is 10 inches × 15 1/2 inches. He needs to cut another rectangle that is 10 1/4 inches by 10 1/2 inches. How many total square inches of construction paper does Rick need for his project?

Answer:

262.625 square inches

Explanation:

10 x 15.5 = 155

10.25 x 10.5 = 107.625

add together = 262.625
