a) V= 13m/s at 24 degrees
X component of velocity Vx= V*cos24 =11.876 m/s
distance =4.2 meter
time =distance/speed =4.2/11.876 =0.3537 s
b) Vertical component of speed = Vy=vsin24=
5.29 m/s
s=ut+0.5at^2 =5.29880.3537-0.5*9.8*0.3537^2
=1.257 m above ground
