Answer:

The simplfifed form of the given expression is -2.

Explanation:

(-12)/(3) * (-8 + (-4)^2 -6) + 2

Use PEMDAS: Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division (from left to right), Addition and Subtraction (from left to right).

First, solve the Parentheses

-4* -4=16

(-12)/(3) * (-8 + (-4)^2 -6) + 2\\=(-12)/(3) * (-8 + 16 -6) + 2

Now, subtract the number.

-8-6=-14

(-12)/(3) * (-8 + 16 -6) + 2\\=(-12)/(3)* (-14+16)+2

Now, add the number

-14+16=2

(-12)/(3)* (-14+16)+2\\=(-12)/(3) * (2) + 2

-4 * (2)+2

-8+2=-6
