  • irrational: √37 ≈ 6.082762530...

Explanation:

Any terminating decimal number in the desired range will be rational. 6.08 for example.

Any of the infinite number of non-terminating decimals in that range will be irrational. √37 ≈ 6.08376253029821968899968... is an example.

As it happens, the square root of the non-square integer 37 is in that range, so we have selected it for the irrational number.
