"Phillip, Lewis, and Constance are talking about are arguing about what Phillip had and did to her and as Constance storms out Lewis says, "Life is as tedious as twice-told tale, vexing the dull ear of a drowsy man", (Shakespeare Act 4). I believe that this quote means that life can be very annoying. I believe this because the quote state that life is very tedious which already explains that life is annoying. Lewis further states this by saying that the twice-told is being told to a drowsy man. Drowsy means tired and most things repeated can be annoying especially to a drowsy man." (This previous paragraph is from Joshua Gomez on Prezi)
Annoying is one word to describe it, but it means that life has a lot of repeating and bore like a story you dislike told to you twice. You get up every morning to go to school or to work at a job. You come home and sleep. You wake up and repeat the same cycle. Tedious means "too long, slow, or dull; tiresome or monotonous" so when they are calling life tedious they are calling life dull and tiring. Like the user on Prezi said, Lewis further states how life can be boring by saying that the twice-told is being told to a drowsy man. Tedious means tired and this further encourages life being tedious.
( ^ since you were confused, this paragraph is written by me as you asked by "please come up with them")
Hopefully this helps, have a nice day! :D
