Answer:

X = -2.5 y = 7

Explanation:

Midpoint formula x1 + x2/2 y1+y2/2

A = (4.5, -3) M = (1,2) B = our unknown so we will call it (x,y)

4.5 + x /2 = 1 -3 + y / 2 = 2

2{ 4.5 + x/2] = 1 * 2 2[ -3 + y/2] = 2 * 2

4.5 + x = 2 -3 + y = 4

x + 4.5 - 4.5 + 2 - 4.5 y - 3 + 3 = 4 + 3

x = -2.5 y = 7
