Do not expand the brackets, divide both sides by -2 and reverse the inequality!
So x + 6 < -41/-2 = 20.5
Now subtract 6 from both sides
x < 14.5
Graph by drawing a circle at 14.5 and an arrow from the circle pointing left.
The solution set is all real numbers up to, but not including, 14.5
