then the 15 meters down are tan(displacement angle)

×50.

as it does not matter, if your first went right and then down or the other way around. you will end up at the same point.

so,

tan(angle) = 15/50 = 3/10 = 0.3

the angle is then about 17 degrees.

and since you went down, the displacement angle is -17 degrees.
