Answer:

The equation is a linear equation which follows the formula y=mx + c where m is the slope and c is y intercept.

Rearrange the equation to take the format of the formula.

7y= -3x + 14.

we want m to stand alone so we will divide through by 7.

y= -3/7x + 14/7

y=-3/7x + 2.

y=(-3)/(7)x +14

3x + 7y = 14

Slope intercept form : y = mx+b

So we have to isolate the y.

Subtract 3x from both sides

7y= -3x +14

Divide by 7

So:

y=(-3)/(7)x +14
