Answer:

4, - 2, - 8, - 14

Explanation:

The nth term of an arithmetic sequence is

a_(n) = a₁ + (n - 1)d

where a₁ is the first term and d the common difference

Here a₁ = 4 and a₄ = - 14 , then

a₁ + 3d = - 14 , that is

4 + 3d = - 14 ( subtract 4 from both sides )

3d = - 18 ( divide both sides by 3 )

d = - 6

Then

a₂ = a₁ - 6 = 4 - 6 = - 2

a₃ = a₂ - 6 = - 2 - 6 = - 8

a₄ = a₃ - 6 = - 8 - 6 = - 14

The missing terms are - 2 and - 8
