Is x% of y is always the same as y% of x​

Explanation:

Firstly, “ % ” means percent, which, as it name says, is the amount of the number per 100 .

Take 5% for instance, 5 percent would mean 5/100

Likewise, x%=x/100

Now x% of y means x/100×y=xy/100

but also, y% of x means y/100×x=yx/100

and therefore these two are the same!
