Hey there!

Solve using pythagoras theorem (it's given that is triangle is right angled. Pythagoras theorem only works in the case of right triangles) ⇨ Hypotenuse² = Base² + Altitude ²

Here,

Base = 20 km

Altitude = 21 km

Hypotenuse = c

Hypotenuse² = Base² + Altitude²

c² = 20² + 21²

c² = 400 + 441

c² = 841

c = √841

c = 29 km
