the answer would be -6

Explanation:

if b=3 then the equation would be 3 (3-5)

you solve what's in the parentheses first. 3-5= -2.

so then we have 3(-2). if a number is in parentheses and it is on another number that means you're going to multiply.

3 x (-2)= -6
