  • m=-2

Equation in point slope form

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y+4=-2(x-7)

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y+4=-2x+14

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail 2x+y-10=0

Explanation:

Answer:

y = -2x + 10

use the following formula:

y₁ - y = m ( x₁ - x )

using this formula:

\hookrightarrow↪ y₁ - y = m ( x₁ - x )

\hookrightarrow↪ y - -4 = -2 ( x - 7 )

\hookrightarrow↪ y + 4 = -2 ( x - 7 )

\hookrightarrow↪ y = -2x + 14 -4

\hookrightarrow↪ y = -2x + 10
