If 8(x - 2y) = 16x, then what is x in terms of y?

Answer: y = -1/2x

8(x - 2y) = 16x

8x -16y = 16x

-16y = 16x-8x

-16y = 8x

-16y/-16= 8x/-16

y = -1/2x
