it takes 3 hrs for two people to clean six identical rooms.

how long would it take 5 people to clean 20 of the same rooms at the same k rate

4 hours

Explanation:

Let say w the work clean one room.

h the number of hours worked

p the number of people who works

k is a constant

6w=k*h*p

3 h, 2 p==> 6w

6w=k*3*2 ==> k=w

5 p, 20 w ==>

20w=k*h*p

20w=w*h*5

20=h*5

h=20/5

h=4

It will take 4 hours.
